heart attack; myocarditis; arrythmia; This is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter(s) (Consumer or other non HCP) from medical information team.
A patient (no qualifiers provided) received BNT162b2 (COMIRNATY NOS), as dose number unknown, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) for covid-19 immunisation.
The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported.
The following information was reported: MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION (death, medically significant), outcome "fatal", described as "heart attack"; MYOCARDITIS (death, medically significant), outcome "fatal"; ARRHYTHMIA (death, medically significant), outcome "fatal", described as "arrythmia".
The patient date of death was unknown.
Reported cause of death: "heart attack", "Arrhythmia", "Myocarditis".
Clinical course: Reporter's friend got myocarditis and then arrythmia and died from a heart attack.
Reporter asked questions what does "valent" mean in the context of bivalent, how does the liver get rid of mRNA, what breaks down the mRNA, do cells contain enzyme, how does body recognise which strain of covid is in the body, why do some people still get covid and die after they've been vaccinated, how can myocarditis cause arrythmia, why it is so hard to remove side effects from drugs, how can it cause myocarditis but not endocarditis since the blood touches both types of tissue, does the new Comirnaty still have myocarditis as a side effect, reporter has not had the vaccine yet because reporter had a cardiac condition and is waiting for a version without the myocarditis risk.
