This is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter(s) (Physician) from the Regulatory Authority-WEB.
A fetus patient was exposed to BNT162b2 (COMIRNATY), transplacental, administration details for the mother: on 28Jul2021 as dose 1, single (Lot number: FE7053) intramuscular for Covid-19 immunisation; coviD-19 vaccine miRNA (miRNA 1273) (SPIKEVAX), transplacental, administration details for the mother: on 30Aug2021 as dose 2, single (Lot number: J07BX03) intramuscular for immunisation.
The mother of the patient was 34 years old.
The mother was 19 weeks pregnant at the event onset.
The mother's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported.
The following information was reported: ABORTION INDUCED (death), outcome "fatal", described as "Developmental abnormalities in the fetus in early pregnancy"; MATERNAL EXPOSURE DURING PREGNANCY (congenital anomaly), outcome "unknown", described as "MATERNAL EXPOSURE DURING PREGNANCY, FIRST TRIMESTER"; FOETAL MALFORMATION (congenital anomaly), outcome "unknown", described as "FETAL MALFORMATION".
The pregnancy resulted in therapeutic abortion.
The fetal outcome is neonatal death.
