Arrest cardiac; This is a spontaneous report received from contactable reporter(s) (Consumer or other non HCP) from the Regulatory Agency-WEB.
Regulatory number: IT-MINISAL02-837258.
A 69 year-old male patient received bnt162b2 (COMIRNATY), administration date 22Dec2021 (Lot number: ACB4941) as dose 1, single for covid-19 immunisation.
Relevant medical history included: "Arrhythmia" (ongoing).
Concomitant medication(s) included: CARDIOASPIRINA, start date: 21Dec2021.
The following information was reported: CARDIAC ARREST (death) with onset 24Dec2021, outcome "fatal", described as "Arrest cardiac".
Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of cardiac arrest.
The patient date of death was 24Dec2021.
The reported cause of death was cardiac arrest.
It was not reported if an autopsy was performed.
Additional information: Actions taken: intervention of 118 (emergency number) who attempted to restore cardiac function with maneuvers.
