A 31-year-old pregnant female patient received bnt162b2 (COMIRNATY, Lot number was unknown), dose 2 intramuscular on 31Jul2021 (at the age of 31-year-old) as dose 2, single for COVID-19 immunization.
The patient's medical history was not reported.
The patient had no concomitant medications.
On 01Aug2021, the patient experienced painful uterus, uterine contractions, pain and swelling at the injection site, flu-like symptoms, fatigue, fever, body ache, myalgia, arthralgia.
The mother reported she became pregnant while taking bnt162b2.
The mother was 31 Weeks pregnant at the onset of the event (Maternal exposure during pregnancy) on 31Jul2021.
On unspecified date, the patient experienced several hours of dull pain in the lumbar spine, small pelvis, convulsive pain, deltoid swelling.
Also reported as follows: The patient had several hours of dull pain in the lumbar spine, small pelvis and convulsive pain (contractions) of the uterus.
Extreme fatigue and exhaustion, Injection site pain, deltoid swelling, fever, tiredness and pain like the whole body, muscles and joints like the flu.
Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of the reported events (except for Maternal exposure during pregnancy) which included paralene, compresses, relaxation exercises on the back, massage and rest regiment, sleep.
The outcome of the events painful uterus, uterine contractions was recovering.
The events pain, swelling at the injection site/Injection site pain recovered on 02Aug2021.
The outcome of the events flu-like symptoms, fatigue, fever, body ache, myalgia, arthralgia was not recovered.
The outcome of the remaining events was unknown.
