This is a maternal report.
A female patient of an unspecified age received BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE), via an unspecified route of administration on 29Jul2021 (Lot Number: FD8813, Expiry date not reported) as DOSE 1, single for COVID-19 immunisation.
Medical history included hypoglycaemia.
Pregnant (19 weeks at the time).
Patient had not had symptoms associated with COVID-19.
Concomitant medications were not reported.
The patient experienced night sweats on an unspecified date with outcome of not recovered, dizzy on an unspecified date with outcome of not recovered, hypoglycemic episode on an unspecified date with outcome of not recovered, heart beats (heart rate increased) on an unspecified date with outcome of not recovered, tachycardia on 02Aug2021 with outcome of recovered on an unspecified date, sweating on 02Aug2021 with outcome of recovered on an unspecified date, dizziness on 02Aug2021 with outcome of recovered on an unspecified date, blood sugar level of 122 mg/dl on an unspecified date with outcome of unknown, and maternal exposure during pregnancy on 29Jul2021.

Narrative case summary and further information: Case narrative: The episode occurred in the night while sleeping (02Aug -03Aug2021).
I woke up with strong heart beats (regular pulse, tachycardia up to 150 bpm), sweating and feeling dizzy.
After deep breaths and some vagal manoeuvres, the episode subsided in 30-40 min.
I initially thought it was a hypoglycemic episode, but a random glucose measurement at the time showed a blood sugar level of 122 mg/dl.
I am pregnant (19 weeks at the time) and I measure my blood sugar levels every week, and they are in normal range.
I am not prone to hypoglycemia.
I fell asleep in 2 hours after the episode and experienced night sweats, but no fever as far as I am aware (I was not feverish in the morning).
Next night I also had night sweats, but no other symptoms.
Patient had not tested positive for COVID-19 since having the vaccine.
Patient was not enrolled in clinical trial.
No follow-up attempts are possible.
