Vaccine exposure during pregnancy; Miscarriage; This is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter(s) (Consumer or other non HCP) from the regulatory authority.
A 26-year-old female patient (pregnant) received BNT162b2 (COMIRNATY), on 25Nov2021 as dose 1, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) intramuscular, in left arm for covid-19 immunisation.
The patient's relevant medical history included: "childbirth" (unspecified if ongoing), notes: have two successful pregnancies and a childbirth BEFORE the covid vaccinations.
The patient's concomitant medications were not reported.
The following information was reported: EXPOSURE DURING PREGNANCY (medically significant), outcome "recovering", described as "Vaccine exposure during pregnancy"; ABORTION SPONTANEOUS (medically significant), outcome "recovering", described as "Miscarriage".
Clinical course: Miscarriages: After the first vaccine dose miscarriage in gestation week 6 + (Spontaneous).
After the second vaccine dose miscarriage in gestation week 10 + (medical evacuation of the uterus).
Patient had two successful pregnancies and a childbirth BEFORE the covid vaccinations.
She was in good health.
No regular medications.
Vaccination site: Left upper arm.
