Headache; Vertigo; chest pain; This regulatory authority case was reported by an other health care professional and describes the occurrence of HEADACHE (Headache), VERTIGO (Vertigo) and CHEST PAIN (chest pain) in a 45-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) for COVID-19 vaccination.
Concurrent medical conditions included Asthma, Smoker (4 cigarettes/day, with a smoking history of 10 years) and Endometriosis.
On 01-Mar-2022, the patient received third dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) 1 dosage form.
On 01-Mar-2022, the patient experienced HEADACHE (Headache) (seriousness criterion hospitalization), VERTIGO (Vertigo) (seriousness criterion hospitalization) and CHEST PAIN (chest pain) (seriousness criterion hospitalization).
At the time of the report, HEADACHE (Headache), VERTIGO (Vertigo) and CHEST PAIN (chest pain) was resolving.
For mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Unknown), the reporter did not provide any causality assessments.
On 09-MAR-2022, patient reported sudden onset of headache, dizziness and nausea, mild chest pain after the third dose moderna vaccination on March 1.
Patient went to our ER.
In ER, patient's WBC was 7.
14 10^3/uL, CRP was 2.
2 mg/L, Glu ac was 109 was noted.
Later patient was hospitalized.
On March 9, Chest film showed Normal cardiac size and configuration showed no active lung lesion.
From March 9-15, patient was given Diphenidol 25 mg 1 tid, Yungisumin 1 tid, Acetaminophen 500 mg 1 tid.
From March 9-14, Prochlorperazine 5 mg 1 tid.
On March 11, 2022, Motor / sensory nerve conduction velocity measurement/Heart Echo M-Mode + 2D was done and result was reported as Normal.
On March 14, 2022, from March 14-15,Alprazolam 0.
25 mg 1 tid was given.
On March 15, 2022, symptoms were reported as improving .
Patient was discharged and follow up.
On April 7, 2022, phone calls were made for three times at 10:00 a.
m but not answered.
It was reported that patient would be followed up.
No concomitant medication was reported.
