A 76 year-old male patient received bnt162b2 (COMIRNATY), administration date 08May2021 (Batch/Lot number: unknown) at the age of 76 years as dose 2, 0.
3ml single for covid-19 immunisation.
The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported.
Vaccination history included: Comirnaty (1st dose, LOT# unknown), administration date: 26Mar2021, for covid-19 immunisation, reaction(s): "No adverse reaction".
The following information was reported: DEEP VEIN THROMBOSIS (death) with onset 26May2021, outcome "fatal", described as "My husband got thrombosis in right leg and died four weeks later"; INAPPROPRIATE SCHEDULE OF PRODUCT ADMINISTRATION (death) with onset 08May2021, outcome "fatal", described as "Inappropriate schedule of vaccine administered".
Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of deep vein thrombosis.
