증상 상세
Progression of pre-existing cancer/Metastases to bone which was not present before the Pfizer vaccination/ Metastases to lung; Pain aggravated; Dyspnoea exacerbated; Fatigue aggravated; This is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter (Consumer or other non HCP) from the Regulatory Authority.

A 66 year-old male patient received bnt162b2 (COMIRNATY), administration date 07Jul2021 (Batch/Lot number: unknown) at the age of 66 years as dose 2, single for covid-19 immunization and received immunotherapy from 06Sep2021 to 27Sep2021 at 1x/ every 3 weeks for cancer.
Relevant medical history included: "Bladder carcinoma" (ongoing), notes: metastases to lung, metastases to bone.
The patient's concomitant medications were not reported.
Vaccination history included: Covid-19 vaccine (MANUFACTURER UNKNOWN), for COVID-19 immunisation.
The following information was reported: NEOPLASM PROGRESSION (death) with onset 07Jul2021, outcome "fatal", described as "Progression of pre-existing cancer/Metastases to bone which was not present before the Pfizer vaccination/ Metastases to lung"; PAIN (medically significant) with onset 07Jul2021, outcome "unknown", described as "Pain aggravated"; DYSPNOEA (medically significant) with onset 07Jul2021, outcome "unknown", described as "Dyspnoea exacerbated"; FATIGUE (non-serious) with onset 07Jul2021, outcome "unknown", described as "Fatigue aggravated".
The patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: blood test: good, notes: before the vaccination; computerised tomogram abdomen: unknown results; sars-cov-2 test: frequent testing done, always turned up negative.
Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of pain, dyspnoea with oxycodon tablet 10mg started from Sep2021 at 6x/day and continued; fentanyl pleisters started from Oct2021 at 1 DF every other day and continued.
The action taken in response to the events for immunotherapy was permanently withdrawn on 27Sep2021.
The patient date of death was 13Nov2021.
The reported cause of death was neoplasm progression, bladder cancer stage iv.
It was not reported if an autopsy was performed.
Clinical course: Onset latency for all events with covid-19 vaccine Pfizer injection was within 1 day.
Onset latency for all events with immunotherapy was within 1 day (as reported).
Blood was taken before the vaccination, that was good and a CT Scan with abdomen was made.
Patient situation had improved somewhat.
Reporter (patient wife) had asked several specialists whether patient should have the vaccination.
The opinions were very divided.
One specialist said yes and the other not.
In the end, Corona was also deadly for patient and then patient had the vaccinations.
After the vaccination patient deteriorated rapidly and he eventually died.
No follow-up attempts are possible; information about lot/batch number cannot be obtained.
